New Gear for 2011 season

Hawk fishing has a bunch of great new gear for the 2010/2011 season. Some of these new products include:

Spectra X rods

A brand new range of high quality graphite rods. Constructed from IM8 equivalent carbon fibre, these fast, crisp blanks are matched to high quality Pacific Bay guides and modern cork grips. Finished in metallic green with gold and purple accents, these stunning rods represent incredible value for money and are genuine high performance lure casting sticks. Viby Lures

These new Hawk HB Viby lures are small sinking lipless vibration baits, ideal for targeting bream, bass, whiting, flathead, redfin, yellowbelly and many other species in both shallow or deep water. With an irresistable vibrating action and a nose down attitude when resting on the bottom, try hopping these lures on the flats or jigging them in deeper water. Measuring 40mm and weighing 4g, they are available in Clear with red eye or Ayu colours and are out now. Click image for bigger version.

Yak Attack Kayak Gear

Hawk Fishing is proud to announce the "Yak Attack" range - a new range of tackle designed specifically for kayak fisherman. The "Yak Attack" range currently includes:

  • Hawk Spectra Yak Attack rod - a high modulus two piece 5’6” rod rated at 2-4kg. Featuring a split grip, gunmetal grey finish and fast taper for pulling feisty bream, bass, and other sportsfish out of their snags. A perfect match for the Hawk Raiden 2000 reel.
